2015 Update: Aalawi Jerk Chicken & Pork closed it`s doors.
Aalawi is a simple, laidback shop serving Jamaican-style jerk chicken and pork. Nestled on a quiet residential street between Ebisu and Hiroo stations. This quaint Jamaican restaurant is easy to miss. The owner and chef, Toshiyuki Ibayashi, lived in Jamaica and not only brought back with him a delicious recipe for jerk chicken, he re-created the easygoing ambience of the island in his small Tokyo shop. Jamaican music and paraphernalia fill the walls. Not exactly child-friendly. Take out is available.
