February 11 & 12, 2017 Tokyo Weekend Family Events and Activities

Here are our top recommended February 11 & 12, 2017 Tokyo Weekend Family Events and Activities. This weekend will be warmer and sunnier than the last few days, but still a bit nippy.  We still have about 5-6 more weeks until Cherry blossoms emerge, but you can get an early fix with Plum Blossoms which are now in full bloom. Also, head to Yokohama to catch the end of the Chinese New Year celebrations and the Strawberry Festival.  Get out and play! Laugh, Learn & Live! Sandra and Lauren

February 11 & 12, 2017 Tokyo Weekend Family Events and Activities

This popular event draws strawberry lovers from near and far so if you want to score some good free sample get their early – opens at 11:00. There will be strawberry tasting, workshops and art projects for the kids.  While in the area I recommend you visit some of our families favorites in Yokohama – CupNoodle Museum, Overseas Migration Museum, Zoorasia, Kodomo no Kuni or the Anpanman Museum. 2. Snoopy Museum Tokyo (Roppongi) until April 9, 2017 – If you are a die-hard Snoopy fan, this is a great Snoopy Museum Tokyo, Best Living Japan, February 11 & 12, 2017 Tokyo Weekendhistory museum that chronicles both Charles M. Schulz life and work.  Since the museum is very history based and entails a lot of reading I do not recommend for younger children. I think teens and above will enjoy spending 1-2 hours reading the comics and learning the progress of Mr. Schulz’s life. The Snoopy Museum Tokyo is a mini take on the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Snoopy Museum Center in Santa Rosa, California, which is a mecca for Peanuts and Snoopy fans. The Snoopy Museum Roppongi is the first international Snoopy Museum, which is sure to delight the maniac Japanese fans. Read about our visit and how to purchase tickets.
