Winter Donabe Japanese Cooking Class – Monday, January 30, 2017

Best Living Japan will be offering a Winter Donabe Japanese Cooking Class on Monday, January 30, 2017! Learn about what donabes are, how to use and care for them and the wonderful healthy cooking that can be created. The class will be offered from 9:30 – 11:30 (class is full, taking a waiting list). We will learn to cook four donabe winter dishes and enjoy eating the creations. Sign-up today!

Winter Donabe Japanese Cooking Class

Donabe is a healthy and warm so perfect to feed the family. Donabe (土鍋) means literally “earthen pot”. The donabe pots are made of a special clay and used over an open flame at the kitchen stove or desert) and then enjoy a nice lunch together. The class will be taught by a professional donabe teacher from Igamono store in Ebisu (a donabe specialty store). We will cook one main dish, two Winter Donabe Japanese Cooking Classesside dishes, and one desert.

Cost of the class is 4,500 yen (tax and all materials included). Payment to be made in Winter Donabe Japanese Cooking Classescash on the day of class. Register at this Google form to reserve a spot. Register only if you are 100% sure you can attend!
