Sanrio Puroland

Sanrio Puroland is a great indoor amusement park to visit in inclement weather or if you just love the Sanrio Franchise. Sanrio character fans, young children and adults who are kids at heart will love being surrounded by cheerful and adorable things. Their main attractions are:

– colorful and character-filled parade
– boat ride that goes through a cave filled with singing and dancing Sanrio characters,
– tour at Hello Kitty’s house that includes a meet-and-greet Hello Kitty at the last room in the house,
– numerous shows (Japanese language)


Japanese is the only known language here though. And its markets are

Sanrio Character Boat Ride is a a ten-minute water tour through Sanrio’s world

Enter Lady Kitty’s gorgeous private quarters, where you’ll see a rose garden, a dress tower, a Japanese tea room and other dreamy spots. You’ll also get to take a photo with Kitty at the end.

Get in an ‘Eco Melody Car’ and drive around Mariland, where My Melody and friends live. There are six photo spots during the ride, and you can decorate the photos taken after getting off.


Travel to Dream Star Cloud, where Kiki and Lala were born, and see their dreamy and cute birthplace, which is enveloped in clouds and decorated with pastel-colored furniture. You can take photos freely here.

A treasure chest of mini-games and photo spots, Gudetama Land is packed with fun attractions. Don’t miss the quirky Gudesushi ‘restaurant’.


There are a number of character themed shops to pick up some gifts and great omiyage and The entrance shop, the largest shop at Puroland has a plentiful selection of sweets, stationery, clothing and much more.

The attractions are adorable. The shows are elaborate and well produced. The food is tasty and cute. And the decorations/styling is so good it almost surpasses Disney. The surrounding Tama Center is also a nice place to walk around, eat, shop and see the calmer side of greater Tokyo.
The women’s restrooms, accessible restrooms and the Baby Center are equipped with diaper-changing tables.
The Baby Center has children’s toilets, children’s tables and more.
Baby food, baby formula and paper diapers are sold at the Information Counter on the 1st floor.
Nursing rooms
For safety reasons, please avoid using strollers on the uneven 1st and 2nd floors.
You can leave your stroller at the 3rd floor Information Counter when visiting. (Consider bringing a baby sling or similar)
