Round1 (100 Locations in Japan) – One Stop Sports Entertainment

Round1 is one of my boys’ favorite place to go with their friends for a few hours of “down-time” or a birthday party. The closest ones to downtown Tokyo are Odaiba, Kawasaki, or Ikebukuro, although there are over 100 Round1 facilities in Japan, and over 10 locations in the USA. Round1 started in the early 1990s, as a bowling alley, and has experiences Round1, Tokyo Sports Entertainmentrapid growth offering one-stop entertainment and sports from basketball and roller skating to electric darts and arcade games. Customers are given a wrist band when entering the facility for “all inclusive play” and when you leave you pay for the amount of time spent at the facility. There are activities for all ages but elementary and up is advised. Some facilities are 100% enclosed so rain or shine all activities are available.  However, many facilities use the roof space for outdoor Round1, Tokyo Sports Entertainmentsports which are suspended in rain. If your kids want to play soccer, basketball or baseball best to go on a dry day. Great for teens in Japan.
