Merrymomo Macrobiotic Cafe, Osaka – Healthy Japanese Meals

MerrymomoMerrymomo (メリーモモ) serves delicious, seasonal macrobiotic meals that are organic and balanced for the body. The owner, Mika Katsube, is a mother, cook and lecturer on macrobiotic foods. She is incredibly warm and welcoming, and when not busy she`ll take the time to explain the dishes on the menu as well as the nutritional value to non Japanese speaking customers.

Merrymomo`s interior is warm and cozy; it makes you feel like you`ve walked into Mika`s home. She opens her doors from 7:30am during the week for a light and healthy breakfast and closes her doors at 22:00.

Mika offers light vegetarian breakfasts during the week; Brown Rice Porridge (540 yen), Oatmeal porridge (600 yen), Soy French Toast (650 yen) and Vegetable Sandwich (700 yen). Her popular lunch sets consist of brown rice, pasta and curries that are packed with a number of the freshest seasonal vegetables. Mika also offers lunch and dinner courses that are packed with nutrition and is perfectly balanced for the body. A la carte and take out also available. Stop in for a healthy and delicious meal.
