Weekend May 21 & 22, 2016, Yamathon4. Yamathon (around Tokyo) – If you did not join a team to participate in the Yamathon this Saturday, May 13th, you can still visit any Yamanote station and cheer. The Yamathon is a fundraising challenge where teams of three or four people compete to walk or run through Tokyo, visiting all 29 stations of the famous JR Yamanote train line in under 12 hours.  The start and finish are at the Tokyo Tokia Building near Tokyo station. Start is 8:00. 100% of the teams registration fee goes to Plan International. Teams can take any course and any transport as long as they visit all 20 stations and have a picture of the entire team in front of each station.  I will definitely be visiting a few stations tomorrow to cheer!  If you are interested in participating next year Yamathon details are here.
