Exact date TBD.** WaNavi Japan, in collaboration with Keio University`s SFC BOSAI Lab., is holding a family-friendly event in Daikanyama with fun games and activities for children to learn about earthquakes and how to protect themselves. Participants will learn the mechanism of earthquake and tsunamis, how to shop for emergency kits, how to react in different emergency situations, how to watch & listen for information and alerts in Japanese and more!

“Two months have passed since the Kumamoto Earthquake.

Please join us to DONATE for the victims of the Kumamoto Earthquake and LEARN how to protect yourselves and your families from earthquake disasters. This charity event is hosted in collaboration with the BOSAI Lab. led by Dr. Satoko Oki at the Keio University Shonan Fujisawa Campus. Not only will we talk about useful information and practical strategies, there will be fun activities for children to enjoy!!! Please take this opportunity to learn with the entire family!!

Kumamoto Earthquake Charity The donations gathered at this event will be delivered to the Kumamoto International Foundation. They opened evacuation shelters right after the earthquake specifically for international residents who had a difficult time in the aftermath of the Kumamoto Earthquake. The evacuation shelter is no longer open, but they will continue to work to support international residents affected by the Kumamoto Earthquake both physically and mentally through various consultation services.”
