Your local Japanese community centre holds a free Japanese class for new mothers and their infants once a week for an hour a day. It`s a great way to meet other neighbourhood moms and their babies, learn, celebrate and create crafts based on Japanese holidays, sing Japanese songs, listen to Japanese children`s stories and learn a bit of Japanese. I highly recommend new mothers to attend their local community class. Some mothers may even speak your language! Ask your local ward office for information on your local infant community class. Sign up is easy. Just give your name and your baby`s name, address, phone number and baby`s birthdate.
