Guam

Spend a Tokyo Winter Weekend with your baby/kids in Guam. It`s a short 3-hour flight from Narita with warm temperatures and cool, clear water. It`s super family-friendly and everything is in English.

Taxi:
A 15 minute cab ride from the airport to the Outrigger/Westin.
$21 flat rate

Hotels:
We stayed at the Outrigger in Dec 2011. Great location. It`s connected to a small mall, the Plaza, and is across the street from the DFS (Duty Free Shopping) Galleria and restaurants, but we found the hotel food to be subpar.

We stayed down the street at the Westin Resort this trip. The food was better and the hotel more well-kept.

Positive reviews from friends staying at the Hyatt and Hilton (the Hilton has an indoor playground on site).

Onward has a great waterpark, but the rooms are basic.

Shopping:
DFS Galleria (Duty Free Shops)
Guam Premier Outlets
Micronesia Mall & Pay-Less Supermarket
Kmart

Transportation:
Shuttle bus, $4/per person/per ride (free under 6yrs old)
(You can purchase a 5-day unlimited pass: Adults $25 & Child $13)
Taxis (the meter goes fast)
