Beautiful weather today, so Baby and I biked to City Bakery (Hiroo). Had a very filling salad and Baby had a snack sized pizza with baby tomatoes. Both items were very delicious and filling for a light lunch. We also grabbed a croissant and coffee (me coffee, Baby juice) on the way out. As always the placed was packed, which is not hard considering the small interior and great food. However, we sat on the outside cushions and enjoyed conversation with a hip young couple. Baby makes conversation so easy just to strike
up. I love that you can get JP size, or NY size treats to fit each person’s appetite. Also, the salad and sandwiches are very tasty. Highly recommend for a weekend takeout treat, or lunch/coffee during the week. An 8 min walk from Hiroo Station. Just don’t each too much.
City Bakery (Hiroo) — Just in my opinion
- Taste: Excellent
- Price: 300-1,000 per person
- Service: Good
- Interior: Western, 8 counter seats, four 2 person tables, outside seating
- Toilet: clean, but very small so difficult with children
- Child friendliness: Good on benches at small tables, but no baby seats
