Aoyama Flower Market is one of the finest flower stores in Tokyo offering single stem and bouquets. However, the reason I love going to the Aoyama Flower Market is to sit amongst the flowers and enjoy some herbal tea and healthy salads and sandwiches. All three locations have the same beautiful surrounds and refreshing lunches. One of the best places to enjoy lunch with a friend.
The flowers in the restaurant are changed every week or so depending on the holiday and season. Presently the restaurant is adorned with pink and red carnations for Mothers Day. The Aoyama Flower Market is located very close to the Nezu Garden, the Spiral Market, Sou Sou and Madu two wonderful Japanese boutiques.
Aoyama Flower Market, Aoyama/Akasaka/Kichijyoji
There are typically 3-4 meal plates to select from each day – typically one will be a salad and one a vegetarian meal for 1,100 – 1,800 JPY. Wine, teas and juices area also available. Many people come specifically for the flower adorned deserts which include parfaits, cakes, and jellies for 650 – 1,000 JPY. Nothing more beautiful than to eat flower petals!
